Film's fight site addicting
Each week, the Browser features some pop-culture places on the World Wide Web offering the coolest in free interactive sounds and action. Condemned online Mature entertainment better suited for the video-game realm arrives in theaters Friday in Lions Gate Films' "The Condemned." The movie offers an oddly familiar plot about 10 condemned prisoners who become part of a televised reality show as they fight to the death on a remote island, with the survivor gaining freedom. The official Web site (www.watch themdielive.com/) gives visitors a noisy, testosterone-driven entrance to the action thriller through collages of cinematic moments and, of course, the obligatory fighting game. Those collages stick the cyber-traveler right in the middle of a war zone that acts as a streaming background for the site.

King steps in, US earns Fed Cup win
With Serena Williams sidelined, Fed Cup teammate Vania King showed she can do more than sing, winning in singles to clinch the U.S. team's match against Belgium in Delray Beach, Fla. King, 18, won raves for her rendition of the national anthem before the first match Saturday, then substituted Sunday for Williams and beat Kirsten Flipkens 4-6, 6-4, 7-5. That gave the Americans an insurmountable 3-0 lead in the best-of-five match. Serena and Venus Williams won in singles Saturday. Serena Williams pulled out an hour before she was to face Flipkens, citing slight inflammation in the right knee. A team spokesman said the move was precautionary, and the inflammation wasn't related to the groin injury Williams sustained April 10, when she retired from a match in Charleston, S.C.
21:50 Review: Boom Boom Rocket (0)
Another game from the creators of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved, a great and addictive game, owned by many, many Xbox 360 owners. The expectations for Boom Boom Rocket are high, but can it possibly be as good as Geometry Wars? Boom Boom Rocket gives us a nice firework show where timing is everything and your feeling for rhythm is put to the test. Boom Boom Rocket is a rhythm based music game where you have to press the correct color button, A, B, Y or X on you controller based on the colors of the firework icons and on the rhythm of the music. You can set the icons to show arrows, letters of just plain colors. Like most rhythm based games, there's a line where the icon passes when you have to hit the correct button. When done correctly the firework explodes and is sure to give you a nice show on your television.
